Dry Foam Carpet Cleaning Service

Why Not Try The Dry Foam Carpet Cleaning Service

Dry foam carpet cleaning service is the second driest carpet cleaning method that is best associated with prolonging the life and quality of your floor carpets.

Aside from the fact that it is beneficial for the carpet itself, it is also one of the best processes of carpet cleaning that is very effective in removing dust mites, allergens, molds and many forms of bacteria that reside or propagate on unkempt carpentry.

Although the process is not new and has been used for over decades now, the dry foam cleaning method is a highly-effective low moisture, quick-drying carpet cleaning method, similar to the rotary shampoo method where brushes are used to agitate the carpet pile.

The dry foam method makes use of an aerator to whip the solution in a foam , which is then dispensed into the horizontally rotating brushes and, like every other carpet cleaning methods so far, the more cleaning chemicals are applied to the process, the longer drying time it takes to finish the job then dries up.

The method only works with all the appropriate equipment necessary, depending on how it is featured by its manufacturers, but generally, dry foam cleaning machines are classified into two, those with extraction capabilities, and those that have not.

Machines with extraction capability can remove shampoo and other soil or dust particles on the carpet. These machines are a bit more expensive compared to the ones that don't have extraction capabilities.

But for the budget-conscious, a dry foam machine without the extraction power can be bought at relatively practical prices, but in order to ensure similar effects with that of the former, a wet/dry vacuum must be paired with the machine to remove shampoo and soil particles.

The basic ingredient for this carpet cleaning method is a solution that is mixed with a commercially-available quality surfactant, an alkaline builder that softens water and a dry solvent to emulsify oils.

A solution called a defoamer is also used to eliminate foaming inside the vacuum recovery tank.

Here is a basic dry foam cleaning method.

First, thoroughly vacuum the area to be subjected to the cleaning method.

Next, apply a pre-conditioner on the area to be cleaned, letting it sit for twenty minutes to soften the dirt buildup as well as to loosen up hardened dirt particles.

Applying more preconditioner to heavily soiled areas are ideal and will allow the process to thoroughly clean it.

As you are allowing the preconditioner to settle, mix all the required chemicals according to manufacturer's instructions, but do take note that increasing the concentration of the solution does not mean that it will either speed up or strengthen the cleaning capabilities.

When done with the mixture, allow the machine to produce a significant amount of foam before starting the carpet cleaning process.

Begin the process by pushing the machine forward and walking at a slow and deliberate pace for about five meters, pushing slowly and steadily over the cleaning area. You may be able to notice if you are moving too slowly on one area since you will notice excess foam showing at the edge of the brushes.

Moving too fast will also result in streaks appearing on the carpet pile.

Upon finishing the 5 meter initial cleaning area, turn the machine and push back to the point from you started.

Follow the process until you are done cleaning the entire span of the carpet.

The dry foam carpet cleaning service is also available with some professional carpet cleaning services if one does not have the patience or the time to do the process by themselves, all the same, whether done by yourself or with professional help, making sure that your carpets are clean and well maintained, you will surely not regret it.
